I led the design for Amazon S3 Vectors, pioneering the first cloud storage with native vector support at scale. This involved designing the comprehensive end-to-end experience for creating vector indexes and executing similarity searches using diverse input modalities, including natural language, S3 URIs, and embeddings. This initiative integrated AI-powered search capabilities directly into the S3 console, a first for the platform, and culminated in its public launch at the AWS Summit New York City 2025.
